Our connecting rods in general are made of SCM415 and SCM420 Steel of the JIS Standard. After forging, normalization heat treatment is applied. After passing the magnetic flaw detection, the rods are shaping on the 500-ton hydraulic press machine before being further processed. Carburizing heat treaiment is done according to the most advanced automated computer-controlled flow in Taiwan and by equipments imported from Japan in the professional heat treatment processing factory.The surface hardness is guaranteed of HRC 60-64 with an effective depth between 0.5 ~ 1.4mm. The thicknesses of the external metallographic unit and the internal metallographic unit are above GradeC, thus best guaranteeing the endurance and corrosion resistance of the connecting rod.Connecting rods are processed using precise NC grinding machines. The guaranteed thickness is within 3.2s, and the degree of flatness is 0.03 mm. Via holes are further processed using Japanese-made hole driller of a high precision and the roundness is at least 0.003mm.
